Final Reflections

The 2011 TechShare Conference at Sleeping Lady Resort has been fun and extremely helpful!  We learned a ton of information and now it's my task to filter and assess to figure out what I can apply to the primary division classrooms and computer lab.  Three days were spent learning about the ISTE and National Tech Standards, Ning (networking), reading URL's, all about HTML's, ipads, flip cameras (movie making using storyboards), blogs, Wikis, digital reporting (citing using Noodlebib), and more! … Continue

Conference Reflection

Reflection

I definitely thought this was a worthwhile conference. I particularly enjoyed using the flip cameras and making a movie with my work group. I appreciated the ability to do a walk-through in a group situation of a prospective lesson. I also really appreciated beginning with Medina’s Brain Rules which set the stage for the project and emphasized the empirical value of technology.
